Skills Transfer Courses

These courses are designed to give a grounding in modelling skills, and act as a confidence boost whilst trying out a different techniques. Led by experienced modellers in a semi-formal format, as you can see from a recent point-building day they are hands-on.  A list of general tools is provided, and specialist tools and materials, including kits if appropriate, are provided within the cost making them excellent value. Courses are normally held on Sundays from around 10am when parking on the street outside Keen House is free. 
 
Recent courses include:
"Soldering for Kits", "An Introduction to Track Building", "An introduction to plaster casting"; "Building Plastic Kits" and "Painting and Weathering".
