Steve Flint - A fifty year odyssey of train photography - real, model and other oddments

Date

Time

7:30pm - 9:30pm

About this event

Steve is probably best known for his work in field of model railway photography in which he has worked professionally since the late 1980s, illustrating the topic in books and magazines, most notably in Railway Modeller. He is currently Chair of the EM Gauge Society.

His lifetime passion however has been recording the full size post-steam railway scene in the UK and at selected overseas destinations since he began taking pictures in 1970.

In this presentation Steve brings to the public eye a choice selection of his mostly never-been-seen-before 50 year collection and recounts some of the escapades he went through to get the shots. Plus he’ll answer your questions if he can!

This event is in person, and guests are welcome at Keen House. The bar will be open before, in the interval and after the lecture with a range of drinks and snacks. It will also be available to view on-line – please fill in the form to register and get the link.

Non MRC members are welcome with a suggested donation of £3 either in person or on our virtual coffee page
