A Pagoda for Great Shefford

The latest to emerge from the South East Cornwall workshop ( which has been quite productive since summer ended and it has been raining for the last month ) is this 2mm scale “pagoda” for Richard Wilson’s Great Shefford project in 2mm scale.
It has home-made corrugated aluminium sheeting over a plasticard shell. The roof panels were Araldited direct onto the supports you can see in one of the photos. The aluminium curves quite easily and is remarkably stout, so it needed no extra backing.
I was quite pleased with the row of spikes along the top of the roof: a scrap of etched brass railing, set into a groove in the plasticard ridge piece.
Happy modelling !
