The EM Gauge Society will be demonstrating a range of kit and scratch buiding techniques using white metal and etched brass, how to convert stock to EM gauge, and how to add extra detail to make models look more realistic, plus on the Sunday how to build track.
And we have demonstrations of how control your layout through electronics and/or computers from MERG; the Scalefour Society showing you how to take the next step in 4mm scale modelling, and the NMRA will be encouraging you to try out US modelling.
We hope the demonstrations inspire you to try a new technique – the teams are there to explain what they are doing, and provide free advice.
The Model Railway Club works with Warners (publishers of British Railway Modelling) to organise the 40 layouts which represent the best of the hobby, as well as the modelling demonstrations, club and society stands and also provides the stewards.
