The time at home, plus the fine weather, has lead to another of our members getting down to it with his new layout. Alex found himself at home for the day so decided to head out into the yard and get some work done!

– track has been pinned down
– most of the droppers have been installed
– turntable fitted, ready for wiring and motor installation

He says “I’ve still got some sidings and the depot roads to lay but having discovered some nice looking laser cut kits on eBay I’m trying to decide on a roundhouse or something more traditional. Something to sleep on I guess. Plenty of mistakes and foul ups made so far but nothing catastrophic yet!”

I’m looking forward to seeing the turntable turning…
