Young MRC is the monthly Saturday morning club for younger railway modellers, aged from 8 to 14, which is held from 10am to 12 noon at Keen House – normally on the second Saturday of each month. The next club meeting is on Saturday 13th October 2018.
- Help to build a layout
- Improve your skills
- Meet other young modellers and swap know-how
- Operate trains
And for the grown ups-
- Get advice to help build your own layout at home from some of the MRC’s experts
Next meeting 10am-12noon Saturday 13th October 2018
where we’ll be able to run trains on new our branchline layout “Oakworth”, for the first time – now the track and wiring are complete – and build some kits (from card and plastic).
Cost £8.50 per child (includes 1 Adult and 1 child) (reduced to £6 for MRC members)
Please note pre-booking via the website (see right) is required, and spaces are limited.
We normally meet on the second Saturday of the month, although there are some variations 2018 – see the sidebar on the right for the next few dates. The pictures here show some of the projects underway. There are lots of children there doing modelling – honestly – it’s just we’ve chosen not to identify them on the website.
